Ignite Social Enterprise
Ignite runs every week in the Acorn Centre from 4.15 till 5.45pm. Please pop in and have a chat with Ann or Steve if you are interested in getting involved.
For the next four months we are working on two social enterprise projects (DJ & Furniture Restoration) these will involve the young people training others in the community and also providing services for the general public.
Lunch club for the over 50s
Once a week on a Monday, we run a lunch for the over 50’s. At the club, the people who come along have a 2 course home-cooked meal such as roast dinners, casseroles, curry’s, as well as enjoying activities such as Bingo. The group has been running for a number of years now and have built a strong friendship with each other. They enjoy social activities such as theatre trips and more.
This is a lovely place to relax with friends new and old and enjoy some lovely home cooked food. Please phone or pop in to book your place.
Lunch is served every Monday except Bank Holidays and over the Christmas holidays.
Job Club
Are You a Job Seeker. we provide a supportive, encouraging and a productive environment. Personalised job search strategies and action plannng.
