New Steps and Handrails

Installation of steps down to the lake

The steps and handrails leading down to Swims 1, 2 and 3 were installed a few years ago and they are now showing signs of wear and tear.  This week we have made a start on reconstruction and improvement of these steps, starting with Swim 1.  We are hoping to accomplish this by volunteer effort alone, since it would be very expensive to engage commercial contractors and we currently lack sufficient funding to do so.  It will be a gradual process, so please bear with us – and feel free to offer any expertise, physical assistance and help with materials costs, if you are able to contribute!
