Today we were joined by Louise and Penny from the Sustainability Centre who taught us how to weave a willow fence! When the next supply of willow is available in November we will be able to finish it.
We had a fun day at the lake last week with our young volunteers. We were also joined by Jo from Motiv 8, Dave and Sue from Horizon Angling Club for the Disabled and Caroline from Webiglocal Wecock Farm. Good work everyone!

As the sun went down at Billy’s Lake, the bats came out to see us! We welcomed Nik Knight from Hampshire Bat Group and his colleague Natalie who taught us about our local bats and how to use bat detecting equipment to tune into the bats’ sound frequency which allows us to hear them.
On the 25th April we welcomed two groups of volunteers from Positive Pathways and Pfizer, made possible by Community First in Havant.
